After last week’s hiatus, JP’s friend booked a court this week again so JP and I went to play badminton with them. There were a couple more people joining us today and in total there were seven players. I played six games in total and won four of them. I lost my first game because both my partner and I weren’t warmed up and were making careless mistakes. The next game I lost was the fifth game and that was when I was getting tired. I was playing quite well in the second and third game and took control from the front court. This just goes to show that I still have a long way to go in terms of my endurance and skills.
One of JP’s (former) students also showed up today. She has gotten much better than the last time I saw her play, and at least now she is capable of hitting the bird. Her strength and skills still have a long way to go though, but she’s still young so there’s plenty of time for her to improve.
Anyways, now that I played today, I probably won’t be going to my school’s badminton club tomorrow. I realize that I did pay for the membership already, but my school isn’t located close to my home or workplace, so I’ll have to use up even more time on the road. And of course I’m pretty lazy too haha, and I’m not like JP who goes to every session available.
