I have been hard at work over the last week on JP’s Badminton Portal, and here is the end result. The old Badminton Portal, which ran on my own custom PHP script, and the Badminton Blog, which ran on Textpattern, has been combined into a single website running WordPress and moved to its own domain at www.jpbadminton.com. The new Badminton Portal has the contents from both of the old websites, and I have set up redirects so that visitors will be pointed towards the right place. As I mentioned, the new site is built on WordPress with a custom theme built on the Thematic Theme Framework. There are still some minor tweaks to be made, but the site is ready for visitors. Hopefully this redesign will lead to a better visitor experience and more traffic. <\/p>\n
